John Galliano named creative director of Maison Martin Margiela.
It’s been three years since the controversial behavior that caused John Galliano his title as artistic director of Christian Dior in 2011.
John Galliano, whose imagination has been known as a “rare gem” of the industry and is also known for turning fashion into art. His runway shows were magical and theatrical never leaving a dull moment for the audience.

On October 6, 2014 Galliano made his couture comeback by joining Maison Martin Margiela as the brands creative director.
According to WWD, Galliano will design all of the Margiela lines, including a couture line called Artisanal, composed of clothes made from objects as well as the men’s and women’s RTW collections. The first collection with the brand is expected to be seen in January for Paris Couture Week.
